Tennis windscreens are an important feature on a hospitable court. Even the top players at the world class level can't compete against sun glare and rapid ball directional changes due to wind factors.
Windscreens
Tennis windscreens protect players from cross winds that could drastically alter the path of their ball. Different opacity tennis windscreens each have their advantages. The higher the opacity of the screen, the thicker the mesh is going to be. Lower opacity windscreens allow for more airflow on the court and should be used with older fencing. The force of the wind on thicker windscreens can cause damage to the fence and fence posts if they are weak. Tennis windscreens not only protect a court from the wind, but also provide a bit of privacy for those using the court. Higher opacity windscreens provide more privacy and are invaluable at public facilities where courts are near high traffic areas.
Installation information
