Sports Tutor Shotmaker Mini Tennis Ball Machine
SKU: TTSMM
The Tennis Tutor Shotmaker Mini delivers professional-level ball-machine performance in a portable package. Both models use internal oscillation, so only the ball-throwing mechanism moves from side to side. This helps disguise shot direction and allows faster transitions between court positions than machines that pivot the entire cabinet.
Both the Standard and Deluxe models offer AC/DC operation, simple controls with no menus to navigate, speeds from 10 to 85 MPH, feed intervals from one to six seconds, electronic elevation from groundstroke to lob, and adjustable spin from heavy underspin to heavy topspin. Each holds 150 balls and is built from rust-resistant aluminum and high-impact plastic.

Choose the Right Shotmaker Mini Model
Shotmaker Mini Standard is designed for straightforward, repeatable practice. It can deliver balls to any one, two, or all three positions shown on its control panel, or oscillate randomly.
Shotmaker Mini Deluxe adds realistic, programmable training for players at multiple skill levels.
- Quick Set-up: Push the “Quick Set-up” button, then choose Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced to deliver a repeating shot for the selected skill level.
- Patented Player Mode™: Simulates a real player by automatically selecting an appropriate speed and spin, then varying the side-to-side position and depth of shots. The programmed patterns reflect play at Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels.
- Shot Program Memory: Program a sequence of up to six shots, directing each shot to any of seven court positions or to a random position. Store and recall up to eight shot sequences at the touch of a button.
- Remote controls: Choose an optional two-button or Multi-Function remote.
Standard vs. Deluxe
Capability Standard Deluxe Position control Any one, two, or all three panel positions; random oscillation Seven court positions or random placement within programmed patterns Quick Set-up Not included Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced repeating shots Player Mode™ Not included Automatically varies speed, spin, side-to-side position, and depth Program memory Not included Up to six shots per sequence; stores up to eight sequences Remote choices Optional two-button wireless remote Optional two-button, handheld multi-function, or phone app remote Remote and Battery Options
The optional two-button wireless remote starts and stops ball delivery and controls side-to-side positioning ($200). Deluxe buyers may instead choose either a handheld FM multi-function remote or a phone multi-function remote with a free Apple or Android app; each provides wireless control of all control-panel functions and costs $300. The remote layouts closely match the machine’s control panel. The phone option connects automatically through Bluetooth, requires no wireless broadband connection, and includes a Bluetooth receiver installed in the machine.
The $50 external battery option replaces the internal battery with a 14 lb battery pack and built-in charger, reducing the machine itself from 62 lb to 48 lb. Only the battery pack needs to be carried to a charging outlet, allowing the machine to remain in a car or parking garage. Because this configuration is installed at the factory, it must be selected when ordering.
Both Sports Tutor Shotmaker Mini tennis ball machine models include a three-year warranty covering parts and labor.
