The 12K Raw carbon surface on the Gravity Tour Ex Pickleball Paddle is higher than prior 6K surfaces on  some earlier paddle designs which means there is a wider weave and more balance between strength and flexibility. Raw Carbon means an uncoated, textured carbon fiber surface that enhances grip on the ball, improving spin and control.
