Sports Tutor Tennis Tower IO Ball Machine
SKU: TTIOS
Build repeatable drills and practice on the move with the Sports Tutor Tennis Tower IO ball machine. Available in Standard, Player and Deluxe models, every Tower IO offers internal oscillation, adjustable speed and spin, and a 225-ball capacity. Choose the Standard for three-position shot delivery, the Player for simulated rally patterns and two-line drills, or the Deluxe for programmable shot sequences.
Internal oscillation moves only the ball-throwing mechanism—not the entire machine—to change shot direction. This disguises where the next ball will go and allows faster side-to-side changes, helping you practice reacting to each shot.
Tennis Tower IO Features
- 225-ball capacity: Holds enough balls for extended practice sessions.
- Adjustable ball speed: 10–85 MPH for a range of practice shots.
- Adjustable ball feed: Set the interval from one ball every 1 second to every 6 seconds.
- Electronic elevation: Adjust trajectory from groundstroke to lob.
- Variable spin: Select heavy underspin through heavy topspin.
- Internal oscillation: Changes shot direction without pivoting the machine.
- Easy-access control panel: Adjust settings from a natural standing position while watching the court.
- Simple controls: No menus to navigate.
- Rust-proof construction: Aluminum and high-impact plastic body.
- Oversized wheels: Roll the machine on and off the court.
- All-weather protective cover: Included with every machine.

Focus on a single shot or add movement to your drill. The Standard model delivers balls to any one, two or all three positions shown on the control panel or oscillates randomly for practice across the court.
Tennis Tower IO Player: Player Mode and Two-Line Drills
The Player model adds Sports Tutor’s patented Player Mode™, which simulates rally patterns at Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels. It automatically selects speed and spin, then varies shot direction and depth to reflect the patterns of real players.
Its two-line oscillator delivers balls to two preset positions with Narrow and Wide settings. Practice alternating forehands and backhands, or use the two positions to work with two lines of students during a group lesson.
Tennis Tower IO Deluxe: Quick Set-Up and Shot Memory
Choose the Deluxe for preset practice and custom shot sequences. Press Quick Set-up, then select Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced to start a repeating shot suited to that level. The Deluxe also includes patented Player Mode™ for varied shot direction and depth.
Shot Program Memory lets you create patterns of up to six shots. Direct each shot to any of seven court positions or a random position, and store up to eight sequences to recall at the touch of a button.
Optional Remote Controls
Remote controls are optional and must be ordered at the time of purchase. Choose one compatible remote for your model.
- Two-button wireless remote — Standard, Player and Deluxe: Starts and stops ball delivery and controls the side-to-side position of throws. $200 extra.
- FM Multi-Function remote — Player and Deluxe only: Handheld wireless control of all control-panel functions, with a button layout similar to the machine’s panel. $300 extra.
- Phone Multi-Function remote — Player and Deluxe only: Control all panel functions through a free app for Apple and Android phones. Connects via Bluetooth without a wireless broadband connection; a Bluetooth receiver is installed in the machine when this option is purchased. $300 extra.
Optional AC/DC Power
Add the AC/DC power option to any Tower IO model for practice without an AC cord. The internal heavy-duty battery typically provides 4–6 hours of play per charge. You can also run the machine from a standard AC outlet, which charges the battery while it is plugged in.
The AC/DC upgrade is $200 extra and must be ordered at the time of purchase. It cannot be added after the machine leaves the factory. Call to arrange the AC/DC upgrade.
Warranty
All Sports Tutor Tennis Tower IO models include a three-year warranty covering parts and labor, excluding the battery.
