Bakko Single Curve Tennis Backboard (Multiple Sizes Available)
SKU: BC
The Bakko Single Curve Series is a professional-grade tennis backboard designed to create a more match-like solo practice experience. Built with construction similar to Bakko’s 10-foot Professional Flat Series, its gentle concave curve changes the rebound angle to challenge timing, footwork, court positioning, and shot consistency.
When a ball is struck higher on the backboard, it tends to return lower toward the player’s feet. Lower shots rebound higher, more like an opponent’s return. Side-to-side shots still require court movement, helping players practice recovery and coverage while warming up or completing a full workout.
Why Choose the Bakko Single Curve Series?
- Curved tennis rebound wall designed to simulate match-like returns
- High shots tend to return lower; low shots tend to rebound higher

Installation and Placement
The Single Curve Series uses rear-mounted wheels that roll into galvanized steel channels attached horizontally to the fence posts. This concealed system keeps the hitting surface free of visible mounting hardware while helping installers position and align the panels.
A 12-foot-wide unit is designed to attach to two tennis-court fence posts, which are commonly spaced about 10 feet apart. The 16- and 20-foot models generally require three posts for secure support. Plan for the curved panels to project approximately 6 inches from the fence at both the top and bottom.
When selecting a location, consider sun exposure, player sight lines, court clearance, and the strength and spacing of the supporting posts. In regions with intense sun, avoid a west-facing installation when practical to reduce direct glare and prolonged afternoon exposure.
Important: Do It Tennis does not install or set up the backboard. Arrange qualified help or a professional installer to handle the panels and complete the structural installation safely.
Freight Delivery
This oversized product ships by common-carrier freight. Residential delivery is curbside only, and the freight carrier is not responsible for unloading the backboard or moving it to a backyard, court, or installation site. Commercial delivery is generally limited to a loading dock or curbside.
Before delivery, arrange suitable unloading equipment and enough people to handle the panels safely. Inspect the shipment before signing the bill of lading, and record any visible damage on the delivery paperwork. Freight damage is handled as a carrier claim rather than a manufacturer warranty claim.
Manufacturer Warranty
Bakko provides a ten-year pro-rated limited warranty on the structural integrity of the backboard panels, including qualifying issues such as major warping, peeling, delamination, separation, or panel decomposition. The exterior Imron® paint is covered for one year against qualifying cracking, peeling, fading, and oxidation.
The warranty applies to the panels only. It does not cover channels, tape, nuts, bolts, or other hardware; vandalism; acts of God; extreme weather; improper installation; non-tennis use; cuts or gouges that expose the interior; damage from tree sap or animals; or marks and scratches unrelated to normal tennis-ball use. Climate, salt air, direct sun, and panel orientation may affect the rate of paint oxidation and color fading.
The warranty begins when the receiver signs the bill of lading. Follow Bakko’s installation instructions and document freight damage at delivery to protect your rights under the applicable carrier claim and manufacturer warranty processes.
