Wilson’s Sensation Plus Tennis String took the already popular and soft Sensation tennis racquet string and wrapped it in metallic fibers in order to elevate comfort and durability.
This multifilament string has a nylon core that’s extremely elastic and energy returning. The nylon core is then wrapped in hundreds of tiny outer fibers, which gives the string its multifilament moniker. The 16 gauge string is slightly thicker than the 17 gauge, making it more durable. It is one of the softest strings you can play with next to natural gut - but at half the price!
