Some styles have welded lacing rods, Polyester powder coat finishes, Die-cast zinc, caps and gear housings and others are designed with a baked-on polyester powder coat finish. The Douglas tennis posts also differ in thickness from 2-7/8” o.d. 8-gauge steel to 3” o.d. round with extra heavy 3/16” steel wall thickness.
