Stella McCartney has been adding beautiful editions to
Adidas’ Barricade line for many years now. She mixes sportiness and style into a very minimal tennis shoe. The new
Stella Barricade tennis shoes have a simple design with gray and yellow. These shoes are ventilated, light weight and close to the ground, so they feel stable and safe with all of your movements on the tennis court. They also have a roomy toe box which cuts down the uncomfortable rubbing on your foot. These tennis shoes shout comfortable as soon as you take them out of the box and slip them on your feet. The Stella Barricade 2015’s are arguably the most comfortable model of Barricade to date.
Here are some other of the Stella Barricade’s awesome features:
• Flexible, comfortable mesh-upper that provides unsurpassed breathability, and will keep your feet from overheating.
• Seamless attached tongue, made from a soft material, that will stay put and won’t rub as much.
• Adiprene and Adiprene+ cushioning to help better absorb the shock and wear on your body.
• Great amount of stability for how lightweight and flexible are the shoes.
• Durable, long-lasting outsole with traction, and the
6-month outsole warranty.
With all of these great features there was only one thing I could pick out that was sub-par. It’s strictly just the cosmetic design – the yellow, black, and grey color combo isn’t very exciting nor appealing. With that being said, its gender neutral and would be a great option for a junior boy tennis player that isn’t quite ready to wear adult male sized shoes, but needs more support than
junior tennis shoes provide.
In summary, these tennis shoes are lightweight and breathable without the common side effects of being unsupportive and uncomfortable. They will hold up well for an active tennis player who spends hours on the courts every day. They would also be a great option for a female tennis team that needs quality tennis shoes to be part of their matching uniforms.
