You've seen the pros every year donned in all white playing on the beautiful green grass tennis courts of the All England Club in London. Yes, we’re talking Wimbledon. You may be thinking the only way you will ever satisfy your desire to play on the green would be to take a trip to the UK where there are plenty of lawn courts to play on. Well we’re here to tell you you’re wrong. Sorry. Though grass tennis courts are far more prevalent in England, there are some lawn tennis courts in the good ol U.S. of A., and many maybe even a stones throw away from you. So without further ado, here's the Do It Tennis list of grass tennis courts in the United States that you can add to your tennis bucket list.
1) Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, Ca:

The Sherwood Country Club is home to a variety of tennis courts including hard, clay, and the famous grass tennis court. You can take a clinic or simply test your skills on their 2 grass tennis courts.
2) JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort and Spa in Desert Springs, Ca.

This beautiful retreat has a number of tennis courts of all surfaces: And, yes, they have a grass tennis court, too. You can play your little heart out for $32/hour or take lessons on one of the two grass courts.
3) International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, Rhode Island:

This famous tennis club is known for the US National Tennis Championship and its museum. This club is home to 13 grass tennis courts perfect for getting a green thumb.
4) Saddle Brook Resort in Tampa, Florida:

Located in Tampa, the Saddle Brook resort has many tennis courts to offer including a 2 lush green grass tennis courts. Perfect for tennis enthusiasts who want to bounce around from grass to clay and hard courts. You can even do a 5 hour tennis program if you are up to it.
5) Wimble-don Grass Courts in Baker City, Oregon:

The Wimble-don Grass Tennis Courts in Baker City, Oregon are one of the only public grass tennis courts around. It has 4 grass tennis courts and is even lighted making night play possible. You do have to pay a small fee to play, but you don’t have to be a member, making it ideal for a quick day trip if you are just passing through.
6) Desert Highlands Tennis Scottsdale, Arizona:

Who knew there would be so much green in the desert? The Desert Highlands Resort has hosted the Grass Court Championship this year. The Desert Highlands Tennis has four grass tennis courts to choose from. Once you’re done on the grass you can move to a hard court or even clay.
7) Fisher Island Club in Miami, Florida:

On an exclusive private island in Miami lies the Fisher Island Club. This club has some of the finest tennis courts and even has two grass tennis courts. Besides the grass courts, you can also enjoy 14 Har –Tru clay courts.
8) Philadelphia Cricket Club in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania:

This premier club has a whopping 21 grass tennis courts. You can also play other racquet sports such as squash and paddle tennis, or even dabble in a bit of cricket or golf.
9) Sea Bright Lawn Tennis and Cricket Club in Rumson, New Jersey:

This historic tennis club has served as a lawn tennis and cricket club for a number of years. It also has a strict dress code of all white garments for tennis which really keeps its old fashioned spirit alive. This Historic landmark houses 15 grass tennis courts.
10) Oak hills Country Club San Antonio, Texas:

If you are ever in Texas and are itching to play on the grass you must stop by the Oak Hills Country Club in San Antonio to play on their one of three grass tennis courts.
Grass tennis courts are regal and pay homage to the classiness of tennis. If you ever find yourself near any of these grass courts, do yourself a favor and get a game or two in. Make sure you stock up on all the best
