Tennis bags have compartments for a reason
November 19th, 2011
Tennis bags can come with just one or two compartments and some can come with up to 6 or 7 compartments.
Most of the smaller bags like the backpack's and 3-pack bags usually have just one main compartment for your racquets and than one side compartment for smaller items like your wallet, keys and cell phones. However, the larger bags like the 9-pack and 12-pack bags can have more compartments.
The compartments are used to for racquets (of course) but the other compartments are used for extra clothes, towels, wristbands, overgrips, tennis balls and tennis shoes. There are smaller compartments generally on the outside of tennis bags that are used to hold smaller items like grips, keys and cell phones. These smaller compartments are essential for player's who play a lot as they need to keep their items organized and clean from other items.
You don't want your wet clothes touching your racquets. If this happens, you pull your racquet out of your tennis bag to play and your grip will be all wet...not good for your game.
