Adidas Y-3 Tennis Apparel Review

The world famous fashion-designer known for his tailoring and avant garde style, Yohji Yamamoto, has partnered up with Adidas to create a line of tennis clothes in honor of the Roland Garros French Open. The Y-3 Adidas tennis apparel collection is elegant and chic, perfect for the French Open culture. Jo- Wilfred Tsonga and Ana Ivanovic will be wearing the line at the French Open this year. The collection we have at Do It Tennis consists of shirts, shorts, dresses, as well as accessories. The collection is mainly black with clean lines. Every piece in the Adidas Y-3 line also has a Roland Garros insignia on it. Adidas Y-3 Tennis Apparel

1)Adidas RG Y-3 Tank

This Adidas tank top is made of a lightweight jersey material with mesh side panels for improved breathability. It is form-fitting and figure-flattering.

2)Adidas RG Y-3 Skirt

This tennis skirt has an elastic waist and built-in shorts. It has a unique, fashionable design consisting of pleats on one side, and a color contrast of white on the back of the skirt.

3)Adidas RG Y-3 On-Court Tennis Dress

This tennis dress is also made of a lightweight jersey material, like the tank in #1, and has the mesh panels for added breathability, as well.

4)Adidas RG Y-3 On-Court Half-Zip

The On-Court Half-Zip is made of a technical pique fabric, and like with the women’s items in the Adidas apparel line, it has mesh panels as well as a color contrast on the back of the shirt. It is a half-zip and the collar stands up.

5)Adidas RG Y-3 On Court Shorts

The on-court tennis shorts are made of a pique knit material and these have a double-layer of mesh. There is also an added layer of compression shorts that come past the knee, below the primary shorts.

6)Adidas RG Y-3 Wristband

Pretty typical wristband with terry fabric for moisture wicking and embellished with the Roland Garros logo.

7)Adidas RG Y-3 Leisure Cap

The leisure cap is all black with the Roland Garros logo embroidered on it. It has a clean look and a snug fit.

Overall this collection seems meticulously made, and very tasteful. It certainly makes for a special memory of the Roland Garros 2015 tournament. Make sure to check out the individual product pages for additional info and images for each of the products in this new line from Adidas.
