Babolat RPM Blast tennis string is known as the string of pro players around the globe; Agnieska Radwanska, Samantha Stosur, Stanislas Wawrinka, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, and of course, Rafael Nadal, just to name a few.
"Babalot RPM Blast are awesome strings - great ball bite, pocketing and amazing spin," said Vamshi G., a Do It Tennis customer said in a Babolat RPM Blast review.
Babolat RPM Blast Composition
RPM Blast tennis racquet string is a high-density co-polyester monofilament string, which features an octagonal shape that creates more bite, more spin and better control. Polyester is known for durability, so this string is great for players who break their racquet strings often.
"With daily play and the racquet strung for maximum tension, the RPM Blast lasts a few weeks to a month. When breaks do occur, they typically are located at string crossing wear point," Carlos Treuil said of the RPM Blast 16g.
Babolat RPM Blast Player Profile
The Babolat RPM Blast tennis racquet string is good for players looking for power, durability and want control. The polyester tennis strings are a bit tough on the arm, so we recommend using a softer string in the crosses if you suffer from tennis elbow or other arm problems.
"At the pro's suggestion, I tried this string in combination with Technifibre NRG2 strung at 59 lbs. for both on my new Volkl PB10. I could not be more pleased. Great bite and feel," a Do It Tennis customer stated about the Babolat RPM 17g.
Babolat RPM Blast Team
In 2012, Babolat heard the calls from customers wanting an arm friendly version of the ever-popular RPM Blast, and they answered by introducing the RPM Blast Team String. Babolat made the Team string 13% softer by infusing micro air bubbles into the polyester material. You can check out the softer Team string in our full Babolat polyester string catalog, along with Babolat’s other types of tennis racquet strings.
