Babolat Pure Drive Serves it Right
October 2nd, 2011
After testing the Babolat Pure Drive tennis racquet, I must say this racquet is worth every cent. My friend works at a tennis retail shop and she got permission from the owner for me to borrow the racquet for a quick demo at the nearby tennis court. For some time, I had been trying to improve my serves and wanted to test a few racquets. I had heard from my tennis buddies that the Pure Drive had the cortex technology while its aerodynamic design helped increase swing speeds.
This racquet was the most popular brand at the 2005 Australian open and is the racquet of choice for tennis professionals such as Andy Roddick, Rafael Nadal and Robby Ginepri. I am not surprised that several tennis champions use it. The racquet uniquely combines power and control. The Graphite Tungsten (GT) technology adds solidity to the racquet while the Cortex helps reduce racquet vibrations and filters unnecessary vibrations. That is a huge plus for me because my serves are now more controlled and not as erratic as before. The tip of this racquet is not as wide as other conventional tennis racquets and the ball stays on the racquet for a longer period of time.
Offering excellent performance from all areas of the court, I am not surprised the Babolat Pure Drive racquets have gained immense popularity. Its vivid blue color is also attractive to the eyes. This racquet is outstanding for 4.0 players who wish to play like Wimbledon champions!
