Babolat's now iconic Pure Aero is a spin machine with plenty of power. Made popular by Rafael Nadal and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, this 2018 edition was previously called the AeroPro, which was Babolat's most popular frame, and for good reason.

The 2018 version of the Pure Aero has a 100 square inch head, comes strung at 11.3 ounces - a good weight that delivers more plow-through on off-centered shots - and naturally retained the spin-generating 16x19 string pattern. The 4 point head light balance gives the head of the racquet a feather-light feel and helps players whip it through the zone with ease. The FSI Spin Technology, or wider spacing of the strings at 6 & 12 o'clock, allows for maximum string movement, and thus, snapback, which propels the strings upward, creting massive RPS (Revolutions Per Second - aka SPIN!). The Aeromodular 2 shape of the frame was strategically engineered to reduce wind drag, resuling in faster swing speed. The result is ample access to the spin, speed and power advanced players are after when hitting deep, penetrating shots with heavy, heavy topspin.
